Screen Sharing Protection

Our technology operates invisibly to all screen sharing applications and screenshot capabilities across most platforms. Your Study Assistant content remains completely hidden from screen capture tools and recording software.

Important Note About Zoom Compatibility:  This feature doesn’t work on Zoom versions 6.16+. Please downgrade your Zoom application if this applies to you.

Webcam Monitoring Optimization

Position the app precisely where you need it using ⌘ + arrow keys (Mac) or Ctrl + arrow keys (Windows). This allows you to maintain natural eye contact with your screen during video surveillance, ensuring your gaze patterns appear normal during proctored sessions.

Active Tab Detection Prevention

Activate or deactivate visibility using CTRL/⌘ + B (Mac) or Ctrl + B (Windows) without losing cursor position or tab activity. This renders the application invisible to system surveillance while preserving your workflow.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Q: The app is visible during screen sharing despite using the stealth mode. A: First, check your Zoom version. If you’re using Zoom 6.16 or newer, you’ll need to downgrade for full compatibility. For other platforms, ensure you’ve activated stealth mode with ⌘/Ctrl + B before initiating screen sharing.

Q: I can’t position the app properly over my coding area. A: Make sure you’re using the correct keyboard shortcut (⌘/Ctrl + arrow keys). If the issue persists, try restarting the application and checking for any window size limitations on your operating system.

Q: The application becomes unresponsive during long sessions. A: This may be due to memory constraints. Try closing other resource-intensive applications and restart Study Assistant. If problems continue, consider restarting your computer.

Q: Platform monitoring still detects the app despite using stealth mode. A: Some advanced monitoring systems may detect background processes. Ensure you’re running the latest version of Study Assistant which includes enhanced detection prevention measures.
